I got reminded of that word again, #Levy Satchmo, and that
word is "Blah". I wanted to really know what does that word mean. I was
first introduced to that word only after noticing my teacher sign her name as
Blah in my record( that was totally, incorrigibly and drivelly made no sense
with her sweet name, believe me I loved her name).Recently again my friend's
facebook status was a feeling (Down with Mark and his feelings !)and it said
"so -and-so is feeling Blah" .WTF ! Actually what is she feeling ?!
I could not
understand and I again turned to the modern age genie in my hand "Google" mama and asked him. According the urban dictionary Blah is a word
used in an after sentence, when no one is talking, or when a person has nothing
else to say.
So I thought of that word of the day and used it in my diary.
An excerpt:
I'm in a very blah
mood these days. I don't feel like writing. Or reading. I open other blogs, read
halfway, and close the page. I don't leave kilometer-long comments in facebook.
I haven't updated my blog in almost a month. I can't think of anything even
remotely interesting to post. I have about three-four half-done posts in my
drafts, victims of my laziness and lack of concentration. In spite of having a
holiday almost every weekend.
So ya, BLAH.
So ya, BLAH.
love yo,
Bharani Kumar.
But then, just like a donkey sometimes needs a kick to start working, so do I (No connection whatsoever, I swear). I got some from Sindhu and Nandhu. Thanks, you both. The fact that there are people waiting to read what I write, was the kick I needed.
But even then, I'm not in the mood to write anything new. I racked my brains, then raided my drafts.
I had written this post a few months back, but never published it. This post is something, Something out of my craziness. Some are from personal experience, some from observation.
So here it is. Add on if you have more.
You know you've got to take a break from the internet, your mobile, whatsapp and what-not techie when...:-
1) Instead of telling the autokaar “Anna, u-turn podunga”, you say, “Anna, youtube podunga”. (I swear, I said this to the autokaar and he gave me this This-is -what-you-youth-are kevalama look. I'm not exaggerating.)
2) Your dreams become very specific. Instead of random visions and nightmares, you see little thumbs-up’s, numbers followed by ‘friends who like your status’, smiles etc. (Especially the day I had put up a new status update. And then I would wake up in the middle of the night and log onto FB. :P , No mean looks please)
3) You have a brand new expensive Fast track watch on your wrist, but still take out your phone to check the time.
4) There is a literal itch in your fingers to surf onto the net even for the silliest question.
5) You don’t have money but you thought it’s more important to get your SMS and internet recharge done.
6) You think the internet can give you a better recipe for Biriyani than your mom can.
7) Even when you’re out having a coffee or at a movie with friends, you need to log on and tag the friend and the location in a virtual setup.
8) You would rather say LOL and ROFL than actually laugh out loud and roll on the floor and laugh.
9) You keep alarm to wake up in the middle of the night and check whether your torrents have finished downloading, and then queue up a new one.
10) You are constantly on the lookout for things that you can write about in your blog or put up as a status update.
11) You are constantly checking for Whatsapp updates and waiting for another friend to text when one is over.

14) You almost fell into a ditch, run over by a vehicle and escaped walking headlong into a tree because you were busy chatting on your phone.
15) You didn't even realize the next person sitting next to you and waiting for YOU to come back.
16) Someone near and dear leaves you, no matter what, coz
you are not spending time.
Friends High time, Take a break, See around, Don't lose people and gala gala :D
:D
So as I was saying, blah blah blah, blah, blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah, blah....:P :P
